Looking for some reading tips suitable for our dog owner friends, we came across a very interesting studio.
Who knows us better than our own mothers? If you are thinking of Facebook then you have done bingo!
The data speak for themselves: the differences between dog lovers and cat lovers exist and are obvious. Some movies are more popular with people who own a cat, while other movies drive dog owners crazy. The same is true with music.
And of course, the subject doesn’t change when it comes to books.

Beyond those books that give advice on how to train a dog or what diet to keep your cat following, we have collected here some novels that dog lovers like (even if there isn’t any dog involved in it) and some novels that have as their protagonist a dog (or at least as one of the main characters).

As Christmas approaches, these books are all great gift ideas for your dog-lover friend.
But let’s see what these “four-legged books” are!

6 Books that dog owners love

Studies say that dog owners are more empathetic, sentimental, cheerful, active. Perhaps these are the reasons why these 6 novels are so popular with dog lovers. These stories are touching and moving, but also full of energy.

1. “Marley: A Dog Like No Other” by John Grogan

2. “The Shack: Where Tragedy Confronts Eternity” by William P. Young

3. “Dear John” by Nicholas Sparks

4. “The Help” by Kathryn Stockett

5. “The notebook” by Nicholas Sparks

6. “Eat, pray, love” by Elizabeth Gilbert

6 Books that talk about dogs

What better for a dog lover then a book full of dogs? These are 6 novels with running dogs, barking dogs, eating dogs and even talking dogs!

1. “The Call of the Wild” by Jack London

2. “The Art of Racing in the Rain” by Garth Stein

3. “Merle’s Door: Lessons from a Freethinking Dog” by Ted Kerasote

4. “Lassie Come-Home” by Eric Knight

5. “A Dog’s Purpose” by W. Bruce Cameron

6. “The Promise” by Robert Crais

What do you think about it? Are you a dog lover and you love these novels too? Are you one of the many who got excited reading these pages? Have you never read anyone of these books but you would like it so much? Or are you a statistical anomaly?
